According to a recent report by Ericsson, the 5G internet network will surpass the 4G network by the end of 2027 with a staggering 500 million subscriptions in India. The Ericsson Mobility Report underlines the growing demand for digital services and data connectivity that is expanding rapidly every year. The first quarter of 2022 saw an increase of over 70 million 5G subscriptions. And the research estimates that by 2027, roughly 75% of people worldwide will have access to 5G. As users switch to 5G after the launch of 5G in India, 4G subscriptions are expected to fall annually to an anticipated 700 million subscriptions in 2027. Starting on July 26, India will sell its first 5G spectrum.
