For content in India, Amazon Prime Video collaborates with AMC Networks.
The audiences have a hunger for new content every day. To explore brand-new films, web series, anime, music, and other media, they search for fresh and intriguing OTT content across all genres. Because of this, OTT platforms strive to create and offer unique digital content to reach more viewers and grow their subscription businesses.
Amazon Prime Video has also entered this competition to meet the demands of its audience. To distribute its content on Prime Video Channels in India, OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has teamed up with US-based entertainment firm AMC Networks, the company announced on Friday. Amazon Prime Video will offer subscribers in India access to AMC+, a subscription service with no advertisements, and AMC's streaming service Acorn TV. Customers of Amazon Prime Video will have full access to Acorn TV's selection of British dramas, mysteries, and criminal thrillers when they subscribe to AMC+. Head of Prime Video Channels, Chaitanya Divan, said in a statement that they are delighted to partner with AMC Networks and offer their viewers a more comprehensive selection of popular and blockbuster English content. He further said that Prime members have always loved their extensive selection of premium international content, available as add-on subscriptions, and the company is committed to satisfying their diverse entertainment needs.
