List of MOVIES & WEB SERIES revealed in D23 Expo Disney event.(PART 3)
1. The Mandalorian
A teaser trailer for The Mandalorian season 3 was shown at the Disney+ expo. There is no confirmation when the series will premiere, but we know it will drop in 2023. Pedro Pascal returns with the old cast to play their respective roles.
2. Willow
It is a forthcoming American fantasy adventure television series that serves as both a prequel and continuation to the same-named 1988 motion picture. Joanne Whalley's Sorsha summons Warwick Davies' titular hero into battle in the series. The series begins streaming on Disney+ on November 30.
3. Tales Of The Jedi
With each episode focusing on a different Jedi from the time of the prequel trilogy, Tales of the Jedi is a forthcoming American animated anthology series that is a part of the Star Wars universe. It is created by Dave Filoni and Charles Murray for Disney+. On October 26, the show makes its debut.
4. Disenchanted
Giselle (Amy Adams), a former fairytale princess, will struggle to fit into suburban life in the upcoming film Disenchanted. Her misguided longing for more magic, which appears to spiral out of control as the princess transforms into an evil stepmother, results from her dissatisfaction with her happy ending. The movie premieres on Thanksgiving weekend.
5. Hocus Pocus 2
The movie focuses on the Sanderson sisters' transformation into witches, and their upcoming Halloween return to Salem. The release date has not yet been made public.
6. The Little Mermaid
The Little Mermaid, which Rob Marshall will helm, is the upcoming well-known adaptation of a cherished Disney animated classic. It will be released in theatres in 2023. To meet Eric, the human prince she adores, Princess Ariel must contend with Ursula, the sea witch. Ariel gets into problems without realizing what she is trying to do.
7. National Treasure: Edge of History
The National Treasure film franchise has been expanded with this Original series. The narrative is recounted from the perspective of a teenage heroine named Jess. Jess is a bright and resourceful dreamer looking for information about her family to save a lost Pan-American treasure and the truth about the past. The first two episodes of the series air exclusively on Disney on December 14.
8. American Born Chinese
American Born Chinese, based on the multigenre graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang, depicts the tale of Jin Wang (Wang), a typical adolescent juggling his home life with his high school social life. Jin accidentally becomes involved in a conflict between Chinese mythological gods when he meets a new pupil on the first day of the school year. The series will premiere in 2023.
9. Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, and Leah Sava Jeffries, the Percy Jackson and the Olympians cast, unveiled an exclusive sneak preview of the much-awaited live-action series that will soon be available on Disney+. The release date has not yet been made public.
10. The Santa Clauses
On the verge of turning 65, Scott Calvin (Allen) understands that he cannot continue to be Santa. His two children, who were raised at the North Pole, could benefit from a life in the real world, and he is suddenly beginning to lose his Santa enchantment. Scott sets out to find a suitable successor for Santa while preparing his family for a new experience in life south of the pole.
