New releases on Netflix: October 2021

Every month so many shows are released on Netflix; series, short films, movies, docudramas, TV series, and whatnot. The monthly list is added to the Netflix library. But not every show is worth watching, right? Here is the list of our top picks for October from Netflix which are a must-watch:

You season 3

A charming but sinister book store manager’s obsession with a writer makes him do things which are better unsaid. The story of sociopath lovers; Joe and Love, is shown in the most idiosyncratic way. You is chaotic: totally unpredictable and full of exciting but morbid fun. In season 3, the pair settles in the suburbs with their little kid, and we clearly are waiting to see how everything falls apart because everyone knows that idyllic life is not their piece of cake. The season is set to release on October 15.

Little Things season 4

Nobody is unaware of the joyous love relationship of Kavya and Dhruv. Set up in the contemporary scene of Mumbai the show showcases a millennial couple cohabiting their ups and downs in work, modern day relationship and finding themselves. The fourth season is the final installment in the series. It is set to release on October 15. This season will follow struggles of the duo to land on the same page about marriage and future.

Are You Afraid of the Dark (2019)

An anthology series, where the Midnight Society, a group of teenagers who gather at midnight to tell and share horror stories only to witness the story coming frightfully to life.. The series keeps you on the edge, although it was released in 2019, but Netflix has taken the rights now and has released it on October 1. The series is your call if you are a horror or fan

The Baby-Sitters Club season 2

If you want something fun and lightweight, The Baby Sitters Club is the right spot for you. The show is a fun loving comedy drama based on Children’s novels. The series follows the friendship and adventures of five middle-schoolers as they start a babysitting business in Stoneybrook, Connecticut.  In season 2 the club is back together (although Kyndra Sanchez is replacing Xochitl Gomez) and adding new people as their business is growing. The series is set to release on the OTT platform on October 11.

Locke and Key season 2

Locke and Key is an original Netflix series season 2 of which is set to release on 22nd October. The story revolves around three siblings who move to family residence of their father following his murder, soon discovering mysterious supernatural Keys. The series is full of suspense with excellent sound and music. The series is an adaptation from comics of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.
