MONICA. O MY DARLING
A retro-style musical number from the upcoming neo-noir film Monica, O My Darling by Vasan Bala served as the introduction to the sneak look at the forthcoming Indian movies and TV shows on Netflix. This crime drama is a roller coaster of sinister and dark turns, where surviving is the only option. Huma Qureshi, Rajkummar Rao, Radhika Apte, and Sikandar Kher all-star in the director Vasan Bala's dark comedy Monica, O My Darling.
CLASS
In the brand-new young adult series Class, which is based on one of Netflix's all-time most popular episodes, get to know the pupils of Hampton International, Delhi's most prestigious and expensive school. Class is the story of three working-class teens enrolled in an exclusive private school in Delhi. The conflict between them and the affluent students at the ultra-luxurious institution results in murder.
KHUFIYA
Written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Khufiya is a spy thriller with Tabu, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. It is based on Amar Bhushan's novel Escape to Nowhere, about the real-life drama in the Research and Analysis Wing, and aims to raise the standard for spy movies in India.
SCOOP
The new series Scoop, created by Hansal Mehta and inspired by Jigna Vora's autobiographical book about her experiences after being implicated in the death of another journalist, was shown to the viewers.
GUNS & GULAABS
"The Family Man" creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. collaborate with Netflix for their first series, "Guns & Gulaabs," starring Dulquer Salmaan, Rajkumar Rao, Aadarsh Gourav, TJ Bhanu, and Gulshan Devaiah. The show is a crime thriller that mixes humor and 90s romance while showing love and innocence amid crime.
KATHAL
The occasion also saw the release of the humorous teaser for Yashowardhan Mishra's Kathal, his feature film debut.
In the movie "Kathal," when a local politician's cherished jackfruits (also known as kathals) go missing, it becomes a strange case that falls into the hands of a young and sincere police officer, played by Sanya Malhotra.
RANA NAIDU
The real-life uncle-nephew team of Rana and Venkatesh Daggubati is portrayed as father and son in the Rana Naidu teaser. The series, set in Mumbai, follows the lives of a fixer who hides the tracks of the most influential people in the city. The drama begins, though, when his father is abruptly let out of jail, starting a series of events that could completely alter the situation.
QALA
At Tudum India, a teaser for Anvitaa Dutt's next historical musical play, Qala, was presented by Netflix India. The movie is set in the 1930s and late 1940s and stars Triptii Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee, Babil Khan, and Amit Sial. The film's story centers on a teenage singer looking for love while coping with her mother's frigid relationship.
CAT
The film's main character is a former police informant, played by Randeep Hooda, who is compelled to revert to his previous profession to save his brother's life, which causes him to confront his troubled past. Jimmy Singh, Rupinder Chahal, and Balwinder Singh Janjua are the directors.
