Users can text themselves on WhatsApp in the upcoming days.

WhatsApp is now working on bringing a new feature that will allow users to text themselves without using another device. This is good news for users who want to preserve messages by texting themselves. Right now, users can send messages to themselves by URL wa.me/91 followed by their mobile number. This feature won't work in multi-device right now, and the company will add the multi-device feature in later updates. Also, using this feature, an individual can send web links to himself in WhatsApp from a computer to your mobile device or vice versa. This feature will be added in the following updates of WhatsApp Desktop Beta.

WhatsApp is working on status updates and admin delete features testing on beta testers. This will show status updates in the chat list itself. Also, future updates can add profile photos to the group chat. Users can see the participants' profile pic in the group chat while texting messages among themselves. These features will be convenient for users and provide a great user experience.
